The packaging phase is a fundamental operation for us. For everyone at Costautoricambi srl, it represents our business card, demonstrating our commitment to ensuring the product purchased by the customer reaches its destination intact.
Unfortunately, during transport, the possibility of damage or even loss of the package is a potential event; however, we are fully prepared to resolve such issues, as most shipments entrusted to the courier are insured for their full value.

The shipping process consists of the following steps:

Pre-packaging inspection.

This essential check allows us to verify both the correspondence of the purchased part with what is actually being packed and shipped, as well as its overall integrity.

Packaging phase.

In this phase, we use different types of materials based on the type of part purchased. We stock a wide range of boxes in various sizes, all new and in reinforced double-wall cardboard. All shipped products are boxed. For the internal protection, we use specific protective materials suited to each type of component.

All material entrusted to the courier is insured.

Domestic shipping (Italy) is always free; we have secured excellent rates with our couriers, allowing us to offer free and insured shipping.

For international shipments, we have applied a shipping cost that is below the standard rates charged by couriers, especially for bulky items such as bumpers, hoods, doors, and tailgates.

We entrust our products to various couriers, selected based on aspects such as product weight and dimensions, and delivery zones to optimize shipping as much as possible.

We use express couriers such as TNT, SDA, and GLS, which guarantee delivery within 24/48 hours across Italy and 72 hours to remote areas or smaller islands. For bulky and delicate shipments such as hoods, we use carriers like Fercam Spa, which have longer transit times but guarantee a 98% reduction in damage.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

The possibility of an item being lost or arriving damaged unfortunately exists, but please rest assured that Costauto will assist you in every way to resolve any issues.

However, your cooperation at the time of delivery is essential. Before signing for the package, you must inspect the packaging and have any anomalies noted on the driver's delivery note. Even a scratch on the outer cardboard, a dented, or a raised area may hide product damage caused by poor handling.

If the packaging shows significant damage, please refuse the delivery immediately.

In any case, please notify us of any damage within 48 hours.

This allows us to file a claim against the courier, as 90% of our shipments are insured for the full amount.

SHIPPING TERMS

Orders paid via PayPal are shipped the next business day (if payment is made by 4:00 PM), while for payments made by bank transfer, products are only shipped once we receive the "payment confirmed" notification from the bank.

Since shipping times may be longer in this case, we recommend sending us a copy of the payment receipt or bank transfer order to speed up the process.

Products are shipped exclusively to the address provided by the person who placed the order.
